This drawing was done on the back of a script for the TV series I’m working on. I’m not going to tell you which one, or what my job is. It’s a female butt, in case my straight co-workers were watching. That’s okay; I like female butts too, but not as much as male butts.
I’m always trying to simplify my approach. On today’s drawing (which I executed 3 years ago today), I used charcoal to draw a female butt in the simplest possible terms. I then sprayed it with fixative. Viewing the drawing 3 years on, I noticed the ghost image on the facing page, which I hadn’t counted on (foolish, I know). I realized it would’ve been cool if I’d flopped the drawing; that way the ghost image would have made an entire butt. Thanks to the magic of Photoshop, you now see what could have been and what may yet be in some future sketchbook.
I drew this in October of 2015 as part of the “Inktober” daily drawing challenge on Facebook. Since it has a butt prominently displayed, I’m posting it in this hole in my Daily Derriere schedule.
My newly acknowledged freedom in delineating female flesh on January 5th’s entry (drawn on January 5, 2013) lead me to study the work of Wally Wood, who was very good at drawing distaff tush. This is crudely copied from one of his later works, pornographic adaptations of various fairy tales published in “Gang Bang”.
