I must have sketched this while tabling at some convention, as I did it on a page of the ledger I used to track sales while tabling at conventions. Also, it’s superhero themed.

As you can see from the date, I sketched this from life, specifically a live trick I had picked up and had sex with an hour earlier. I sketched this as he was dressing prior to our heading out to have a late night snack at Astro’s Family Restaurant, in Silverlake, California. I believe I intended this piece to be included in a one-man exhibition I was prepping in a leather bar, The One Way. Ah, youth…,
I started this drawing in a 1995 sketchbook, finished it last night. I liked the original drawing, especially the quality of the dry brush ink line, but it wasn’t finished, didn’t convey the mood I was trying to communicate at the time. So I finished it, or did a finish on it, in Photoshop. I still have the original drawing and the raw scan, so I haven’t obliterated my past.

This is another drawing culled from a mid 1994 sketchbook.

This is another drawing culled from a mid-1995 sketchbook; I was trying to design a sexy gay superhero.

This is another sketch from 1994, redrawn yesterday, farting around with Photoshop brushes.

More culling from old sketchbooks; this one from mid ’94.

This is a work in progress, but I’m out of time and need to post, so here you are.

This drawing is interesting because it has 3 different types of men drawn with 3 different types of line. Culled from an old sketchbook.

This is the final drawing in a series of erotic drawings I drew in 1995.
